Weekend Music for September 14-16, 2018

The music scene is winding down quite a bit now that Labor Day has come and gone. The final Ironstone concert is Sunday featuring Culture Club (in Murphys? who’d have thunk THAT?), and B-52’s.

Brice Station has their final summer concert on Saturday featuring Bill Welles.

Around Arnold, we have:

Friday: Sequoia Woods: Almost Blue. 7:00 – 9:30

Saturday: Bistro Espresso: Chains Required (FINAL SHOW EVER!). 3:00 – 7:00 Highly recommend checking out the swan song of one of the Gold Country’s favorite bands at the Cedar Center. Always high energy, always great music. You can cap your night with dancing with DJ Billy at Sequoia starting at 9:00

In addition to the music above, there is an Art Show at the Murphys Pourhouse, Live Music with Anthony Delaney at Kola Farms and Live Music at Alchemy on Friday evening.  The Mouse Trap is playing at the Black Bart Theater in Murphys and the Concours d’Rubber Chicken will be taking place at Twisted Oak in Vallecito with Live Music by Jill Warren.  There’s a rib cook-off in Murphys Community Park on Saturday and Live Music at the Lucky Penny on Saturday night.
