TRAFFIC ADVISORY
MULTIPLE PROJECTS ON STATE ROUTE 4 ABOVE ARNOLD IN CALAVERAS COUNTY
Tree Removal Work Ongoing Near Existing Construction Projects

CALAVERAS COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform road construction including tree removal of dead and dying trees on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) from the Arnold Byway to the Calaveras/Alpine county line. Work will occur as follows:

• One-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from upper Moran Road to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park entrance beginning Monday, July 23, 2018, through Friday, July 27, 2018, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for construction work.
• One-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Boards Crossing Road to Cottage Springs beginning Monday, July 23, 2018, through Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for tree removal work.
• One-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from
Dorrington to Cabbage Patch beginning Monday, July 23, 2018, through Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for shoulder work.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays at each location. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and other construction-related issues.
