Bear Valley Trail Work Day – Bear Valley Trail Stewardship (BVTS) will be hosting a trail maintenance day on Saturday, August 8th, to help repair some of our community’s most well-loved trails. At 8:30 AM, all volunteers will meet at the Bear Valley Adventure Co. before heading out. Tools will be provided; however, supplies may be limited, so participants are encouraged to bring their own if able to. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at 12:30 PM to thank all volunteers for their time and effort. For additional information, please visit the BVTS website.

Night Skies with Doc Nancy at Big Trees State Park at 8:30 pm – Meet at the Scenic Overlook in the park, just a few miles past the Visitor Center. Bring a chair or blanket and please keep your headlights turned off as you enter the parking area.
