Alpine County Invites Families to the 18th Annual Lake Alpine Kids Fishing Day
MARKLEEVILLE, Calif. — Alpine County is pleased to invite children and families to the 18th Annual Lake Alpine Kids Fishing Day, taking place on Saturday, July 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Alpine Boat Ramp.
This free community event is designed to introduce children to the enjoyment of fishing while encouraging families to spend quality time together outdoors in one of Alpine County’s most scenic settings. Young anglers of all skill levels are welcome to participate, whether it is their first time casting a line or they are already experienced fishermen and women.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment, as available sponsorships limit the number of loaner rods and reels. Alpine County Fish & Game will provide bait for all participants, and a complimentary hot dog lunch will be served during the event.
In addition to a fun day of fishing, children will have opportunities to win prizes generously donated by local sponsors.
