Wheeler Ridge

Trail begins at Woodchuck Basin, located on the northern side of Hwy 4 just beyond Lake Alpine. Travel through forests, meadows, and the slope side to the ridge. Lovely views. To continue the hike continue along the trail as it descends another mile and a half to Wheeler Lake. Great views of Lake Alpine, Union and Utica.
